Anselm Skogstad (b. 1983, in Starnberg, Germany) is a German-American artist living and working in New York, NY and Munich, Germany.
Between 2002 when Skogstad first arrived in New York City and 2006, he “customized’ his art education. He began experiencing the New York art scene whilst working for renowned artists Christopher Makos and David LaChapelle as well as Magnum Photos. Further more, Skogstad began attending a selection of courses at the International Center of Photography and the School of Visual Arts in New York. Skogstad worked on an extensive body of work entitled American Portrait whilst being based in San Francisco, CA for several months where he also attended the San Francisco Art Institute.
Throughout his work, Skogstad creates visuals, which often implement multiple layers using mixed media. He works in series allowing each piece to be part of a whole, not being titled individually. Skogstad also insists on setting technical boundaries in which he works for each specific series.
During recent years, Skogstad has had numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout Europe and the United States. He is represented by galleries and curators, amongst those are Dr. Philipp Gutbrod, President, Villa Grisebach Auctions, Inc., New York, NY and David Guiraud, Paris, France. Upcoming future exhibitions of Skogstad’s work, scheduled through 2011, will be on display in Paris, Munich, Berlin, Boston and New York.

Here’s what Assange’s description of himself:
” WARNING: Want a regular, down to earth guy? Keep moving. I am not the droid you’re looking for. Save us both while you still can.
Passionate, and often pig headed activist intellectual seeks siren for love affair, children and occasional criminal conspiracy.
Such a woman should spirited and playful, of high intelligence, though not necessarily formally educated, have spunk, class & inner strength and be able to think strategically about the world and the people she cares about.
I like women from countries that have sustained political turmoil. Western culture seems to forge women that are valueless and inane. OK. Not only women!
Although I am pretty intellectually and physically pugnacious I am very protective of women and children.
I am DANGER, ACHTUNG, and ??????????????!”
