I cannot remember how I found this time lapse video showing the process of Dei G. creating the cover illustration for Xabiroi Comic Book Magazine, but I’m excited that I did. Amazing short from animator Erick Oh

one of my fav shorts from the Czech animator Jiri Trnka. A parable of an artist working under a totalitarian regime. A few months after his death the government banned this film and confiscated all the copies of it and locked it away for 20 years. A masterpiece of stop motion animation and character study.
