Whatever happened to the great escape
The finest enemy.
Crafted with pride by monsters on the train.
The world is great to suckers
We have the story of the impossible
A tale passed on so frail
One of make-belief
Maybe impossible to achieve
And really close
Who sew the lion’s hungry in the cage
With the confidance of a clown
The little man who rises on the stage
As he falls without a safety net
We have the story of the impossible
A tale passed on so frail.
One of make-belief
Maybe impossible to achieve
And really close
Whatever happened to the great escape
And all the plans we make
Crafted with pride by Monsters on the train.
The world is great to suckers.
We have the story of the impossible
A tale passed on so frail.
One of make-belief
Maybe impossible to achieve
But oh so close
A good buddy of mine shared this with me this morning. It’s only 8:23 A.M. but my day is complete already. Check them all out at www.thekittencovers.tumblr.com. Amazing, thanks internet.
The installation, entitled The Obliteration Room, is part of Kusama’s Look Now, See Forever exhibition that runs through March 11, 2012 at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in Brisbane.

I make no attempt to hide the fact that i’m a Phish-head, a Phan, a Phollower. That being said, with Phish playing in my back yard this New Years Eve at the Garden…well, you better believe that I was there, glow sticks in hand. Normally I wouldn’t post about a Phish concert, but last night as they do every NYE, Phish played a gag, and this years gag is too cool not to share with y’all. So please bare with this video, it’s 25-minutes, but worth every guitar solo and funky bassline.
With all this being said, obviously I’d like to wish y’all a happy and healthy new year!
UPDATE:
Phish has released a way better video of the shenanigans, check it!
I was asked to help document The New Museums current exhibition,
Carsten Höller: Experience
And for their Year in Culture issue they ran this photo of mine
