Kwadrilaterals is a series of non-objective oil paintings which explores the infinite possibilities of visual relationships between color and form. The backgrounds and foregrounds of any given painting in the series adhere to a strict format of mutually exclusive, visual rules. Subsequent rules are established until the painting reaches the visual equivalent of a balanced mathematical equation.
